The "New Bibles" of the Antichrist

Part 1: The Alexandrian Stream

All “Churches” using Alexandrian “Bibles” are bound under a Gnostic curse that has sought to integrate all the religions and philosophies together under one thread, this thread being the thread of the god of this world.

 

II Cor. 4: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

 

Human logic and reason thrives under this unit of operation making “churches” once thriving with the scriptures now coming under a curse that brings about either false signs or simply “dead” churches.

 

School of Theology, Alexandria

 

This steam of Christianity came about from the home of slavery Egypt. Here worldly wisdom brought about a cause that would integrate human philosophy, paganism, and a form of “Christianity” that did not emphasize the exclusivity of Christ Jesus as the only way to the Father, but rather have a Christ that was not equal with the Father, thus opening the door for a “Christianity” that embraced all cultures. This form of “Christianity” is the most prevalent in Britain today, and it manifests the form of Antichrist with few witnessing revelation of the real Christ in British “churches” today.

 

Clement of Alexandria (150-215 A.D.) was one of the earliest well known pioneers of this belief system. Glenn Davies declared; “He synthesized Greek philosophy and Mosaic tradition, and attempted to mediate Gnostics and orthodox Christians.” http://www.ntcanon.org/Clement.shtml 

 

This approach is completely contrary to scripture and places knowledge above wisdom, a concept now the essence of theological training in Britain today.

 

The Gnostic Avails Himself of the Help of All Human Knowledge.

Protreptikos (Exhortation by) Clement.

For to him knowledge (gnosis) is the principal thing. Consequently, therefore, he applies to the subjects that are a training for knowledge, taking from each branch of study its contribution to the truth.

We can learn therefore from the Alexandrian approach that knowledge and gaining knowledge is the principle concept of learning which is why we have so much emphasis on degrees and the gaining of degrees in the realm of “Christian” Ministry on the Alexandrian side whilst the Bible emphasizes a completely different ideal.

 

 

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

 

W.C. Reinrich identified Clement’s theological approach in the following way: 

1)  Clement is important for his positive approach to philosophy which laid the foundations for Christian humanism and for the idea of philosophy as "handmaid" to theology.

 

2)  Greek philosophy according to Clement was a partial revelation preparing people for Christ, Christ being the Logos preparing man for true gnosis.

 

3)  Man becomes a "true Gnostic" by love and contemplation. Through self-control and love man rids himself of passions, reaching finally the state of impassibility wherein he attains to the likeness of God. These three ideals completely eliminate Christ Jesus ideal that he of his own self could do nothing, John 5:30; philosophy seemingly taking over the role of the Holy Ghost in bringing conviction to the lost sinner. Self control has now become a way of preparing one for God likeness rather than submission and surrender to Christ Jesus! This whole school of thought was pioneering the way for the now prevalent counterfeit form of “Christianity.”

 

Origen establishes the philosophical base for the “new translations”!

 

Around 202 Origen took over from Clement expanding this new allegorical approach rather than the literal form of “Christianity”. Using a process of combining the literal, moral and allegorical approaches, Origen wrote commentaries and homilies on Biblical books as well as the Hexapla interpretation of the Old Testament. Origen describes a moral rather than literal unity between the Father and the Son relating into modern “translations” describing Jesus as being unable to grasp literal unity with the Father. This was the philosophical base for today’s “new translations” and the question has to be asked as Melton indeed asks why after giving warning words on philosophy would God place his Word in the hands of those who look to bring together his inspired words with other belief systems. http://www.av1611.org/kjv/fight.html

 

 

I Cor. 1: 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Col. 2: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

I Cor. 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

 

Would God really choose Egypt?

 

Evangelicals who use the “new translations” need to ask whether God would really use Alexandria, Egypt as the central point for a philosophy that would become the foundation base for such documents known as The Message, NIV, AMP, NKJV (footnotes), NASB, RSV etc., etc. God’s opinion in His Word on this centre of Gnostic Philosophy is not good, as can be seen in these references to both Egypt and Alexandria itself. These documents are known widely as being “Bibles” and their source is Egypt.

 

  • Clearly Abraham did not trust the Egyptians and so why should we trust Egyptian Gnostics to provide the base for the Christian Bible?

 

 

Gen. 12:10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land.

11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:

12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.

13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

 

  • Joseph was sold into Egypt as a slave in bondage.

 

 

Gen. 37:36 And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, and captain of the guard.

 

  • Joseph did not want his bones left there.

 

 

Gen. 50: 25 And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.

 

  • Egypt’s firstborn were killed for national rebellion against God.

 

 

Ex. 12:2 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

 

  • God calls Egypt “the house of bondage” and so would he really allow his inspired Word to come through there?

 

 

Ex. 20: 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

 

  • God calls Egypt an “iron furnace”.

 

 

Deut. 4: 20 But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

 

  • The Kings of Israel were forbidden to get horses from Egypt yet the majority of “Churches” in Britain today use an Egyptian Bible, the NIV declaring its “Jesus” to be the “Capstone” the headstone of a pyramid, the pyramid being a symbol of occult power and its overseeing eye, an eye evident on U.S. currency notes.

 

 

Deut. 17:16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

 

NIV Acts 4:11,12 He is
   " 'the stone you builders rejected,
      which has become the capstone.[a]'[b] 12Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

 

  • The Jews were forbidden to go to Egypt for help yet apparent evangelicals today embrace “Bibles” that have their roots in Egyptian Gnosticism.

 

 

Jer. 42: 13 But if ye say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,

14 Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;

16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die.

17 So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.

18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.

19 The LORD hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.

 

  • Egypt destined for punishment with their gods, Egyptian “Bibles” declaring their Jesus as one of them!

 

 

Jer. 46:25 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:

 

NIV Dan. 3:25  He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."

 

A.V. Dan. 3: 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

 

  • God’s begotten (not in Egyptian “Bibles”) Son called out of Egypt.

 

 

Hosea 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Matthew 2:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

 

  • Would the “Bible” as so called “new translations” pretend to be really come out of a land placed in the same category as Sodom?

 

 

Rev. 11: 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

 

  • Alexandria itself is associated with unbelievers, persecution and the eventual death of Stephen, an association bound to many who embrace its “Bibles”!

 

Acts 6: 8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

 

Acts 7: 54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

 

  • The Bible illustrates a lost preacher from Alexandria who had to be put straight on his doctrine as millions of evangelicals who have embraced Alexandrian “Bibles” need to be put straight today.

 

 

Acts 18: 24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

 

  • Two ships from Alexandria carry Paul to his eventual death in Rome, Alexandria being the second largest city of the Roman Empire and thus lieth the plot to kill the whole Church and replace it with a Luciferian Church with Satan as its Christ.

 

 

Acts 27:6 And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.

Acts 28:11 And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.

12 And landing at Syracuse, we tarried there three days.

13 And from thence we fetched a compass, and came to Rhegium: and after one day the south wind blew, and we came the next day to Puteoli:

14 Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seve days: and so we went toward Rome.

 

Which ship are you on, on the sinking sands of the “Bibles” of Alexandria & Rome which lead to death or upon the Rock of the Lord Jesus Christ who is our Cornerstone and not a “Capstone” of Egypt?

We discover from the writings of C.T. Russell’s book, Thy Kingdom Come third volume of Studies in the Scriptures, 1910 edition, gives us an insight into this strange Egyptian form of “Christianity”.

 

 

The Great Pyramid, however, proves to be a storehouse of important truth- scientific, historic, and prophetic- and its testimony is found to be in perfect accord with the Bible, expressing the prominent features of its truths in beautiful and fitting symbols. Chapter 10, page 314

Jeremiah {32:20} when speaking of God’s mighty works, declares that he hath “set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day.” God showed signs and wonders in Egypt when he brought Israel out in triumph; but he also “set signs and wonders” there, which remain “even unto this {our} day.” The Great Pyramid, we believe, is the principle one of these very signs and wonders; and it now begins to speak to scientists in their own language, and through them to all men.

 

 The Lord’s questions and statements to Job {38:3-7}, concerning the earth, find a remarkable illustration in the Great Pyramid , which is believed , in itself and by its measurements, to represent the earth and God’s plan with reference to it. The illustration used is that of a building, and we believe that it fits only to a structure of pyramid shape. The language, while it applies primarily to the earth, is framed to fit the illustration given in the Great Pyramid. First, the preparation of the foundations, the rock on which the Great Pyramid is built, is noted. Second, the arrangement of its measures, a feature very prominently shown in the Great Pyramid, which abounds in significant measurements. “Who hath stretched the line upon it?”

 

The perfection of the shape of the Great Pyramid, and its exactness in every respect, prove that its construction was guided by some master architect. “Whereupon are the sockets there of made to sink?” The Great Pyramid has four corner socket-stone sunk into the solid rock. “Or who laid the corner-stone thereof?” A pyramid has four corner-stones, but the reference here is to one particular cornier-stone—the top stone. Page 319While every feature of the Great Pyramid’s teaching is important and of interest, our greatest interest centers in its silent but eloquent symbolism of the plan of God—the Plan of the Ages… In this aspect of its teaching, the Great Pyramid, viewed from without, has a beautiful significance, representing the plan of God completed, as it shall be at the end of the Millennial age. The crowning feature will be Christ, the acknowledged Head over all; and each other stone will be fitly framed into the glorious building, complete and perfect. All this chiseling, polishing and fitting process will then be completed, and all will be bound and cemented together, to each other and to the Head, with love.

 

If the Great Pyramid, as a whole, represents the plan of God complete, its top corner-stone should represent Christ,whom God hath highly exalted to be Head over all. And that it does represent Christ is indicated, not only by its exact fitness as a symbol of Christ,* but also by numerous references to the symbol by prophets and apostles and by our Lord Jesus himself. Isaiah (28:16) refers to Christ as the “precious corner-stone.” Zechariah (4:7) refers to its placement at the top of the completed edifice, with great rejoicing, saying, “He shall bring forth the head-stone thereof with shoutings, crying, ‘Grace, grace unto it.’“ Doubtless when the head-stone of the Great Pyramid was laid there was great rejoicing among the builders and all interested in it, to see this crowning feature of the finished work.

 

Job also (38:6,7) speaks of the rejoicing when the chief corner-stone was laid, and he specifies the head, or crowning corner-stone, by mentioning the other four corner-stones first, saying, “Whereupon are the socket-stones made to sink? or who laid the corner-stone thereof, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” (See margin.) The Prophet David, too, refers to our Lord, and uses a figure of speech exactly corresponding to that of this stone “Witness” of Egypt. He says, prophetically, from the standpoint of the future, “The stone which the builders rejected is become the head-corner-stone. This is Jehovah’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.

 

This is the day [the Millennial day of Christ’s glory as the Head and Ruler of the world] which Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psa. 118:22-24) Fleshly Israel failed to accept Christ as their head-stone, and hence were rejected from being the special house of God—Spiritual Israel instead being built up into Christ the Head. And we remember that our Lord applied this very prophecy to himself, and showed that he was the rejected stone, and that Israel, through their builders, the priests and Pharisees were the rejecters. Matt. 21:42, 44; Acts 4: {Page 329, 330}

Antichrist Verses Again!

WE now know why in our “Biblical” references we find the NWT so often identical to “new translations” because their origins lie in Alexandria, Egypt – the physical ancient home of the Antichrist and his Gnostic scriptures that downgrade Christ Jesus as not being equal with the Father. We will now show that today that physical home is Rome!

 

NWT: Phil.2: 6 who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.

 

NIV Phil. 2:6 Who, being in very nature[a] God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

 

NASB  Phil. 2:6 who, although He (A)existed in the (B)form of God, (C)did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped

 

AMPLIFIED Phil. 2:6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [[a]possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not [b]think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped [c]or retained,

The Authorized Version has the real Jesus equal with the Father!

I John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

 8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Part 2:

Rome & the influence of Eusebius & Constantine

Rome embraces the pagan stream.

 

After the persecution of the Christians under Nero, it may have seen a blessing to have Constantine as Emperor of the Roman Empire for history books have shown that Constantine was the Emperor to make the Roman Empire “Christian”. Nothing could be further from the truth, however, for the “Christianity” Constantine and his theological assistant Eusebius were to embrace was a million miles away from the truth of Antioch. Instead Rome was to embrace the pagan “Christian” stream of its second city Alexandria.

 

Eusebius described the fourth century Church he was forming within the confines of the Roman Empire as “a state of uniform harmony”, Constantine joining this harmony in 321 AD as a convert. http://ctlibrary.com/4513

 

Wikipedia On-line Encyclopaedia exposes the likely reality that Eusebius was very much part of the Alexandrian stream and was involved in theological battles with those portraying the real Word of God from Antioch. This battle still goes on today, with those of the Alexandrian stream supporting allegorical exegesis of scripture whilst those of the Antioch stream supporting a literal belief.

 

Joshua 24: 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

Personal Testimony - Egyptian Philosophy taught and pictured at what was Elim Bible College UK!

Whilst I was a student at Elim Bible College, Nantwich, now known as Regents Theological College I wondered why there should be a picture like this on the wall of the Library – of the weighing of the souls of the dead!

I now know that with the NIV, the principal “Bible” of the College, I was about to witness false teaching in the form of allegorical exegesis of what they called “scripture”.

 

The College’s decline into sin was a far cry from the teaching of Founder Principal George Jeffreys, a Preacher of the Authorized Version. 

The Great Divide Developing!

Eustathius of Antioch in opposing the heretical views of Origen and their influence on theological thought in the Roman Empire found an opponent in Eusebius who was an admirer of Alexandrian Pioneer Origen, Eusthathius accusing him of having diverse views on the divinity of Christ Jesus relating these views to Arianism and Sabellianism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eusebius_of_Caesarea

 

In simple terms Arianism is a belief that the Logos, Jesus is a created being and therefore not fully God. This belief is embraced today in the Alexandrian “new translations” as well as in the NWT of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The following doctrines illustrated in our booklet “Watchtower Charismatics” illustrate the point, and prove beyond all doubt that the Egyptian translations are a manifestation of Antichrist.

Be it that Rome embraced the pagan stream of Alexandria, Egypt and that Bible Societies are now embracing Rome as with the Nestle Aland Committee, is persecution likely for those of the Antioch stream who refuse to compromise God’s word

and is there Biblical basis

for believing that the real Church will grow through all of that?

Antichrist Verses Again!

DOCTRINE 1: Jesus is “a god” and lesser than Jehovah God. J.W. Doctrine Scriptural Support:

“New translations” agree with New World Translation on “Jesus is a god” point!

 

NWT Dan. 3:25  He was answering and saying: “Look! I am beholding four able-bodied men walking about free in the midst of the fire, and there is no hurt to them, and the appearance of the fourth one is resembling a son of the gods.”

Dan. 3:25 NIV  He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."

Historical information shows that the Emperor Constantine after showing initial concern towards the Arian position met up with Arius around 332 or 333. In 335 Arius produced a confession which Constantine considered orthodox. Arius who was a Greek rationlist who rationally brought meaning to the Trinity unlike Patrick who brought spiritual understanding, became accepted into orthodoxy but this orthodoxy was not under the line of Antioch but of the bondage of Egypt. James Melton points out that whenever someone “corrects” the Authorized Version they usually will refer to “more reliable manuscripts” and these manuscripts are usually Codices Vaticanus and Sinaiticus. These are the primary manuscripts used by Cambridge spiritualists Westcott and Hort in producing their “original Greek” etc. etc. etc. There is evidence to show that Eusebius with his links to the heretics Origen and Arius wrote these manuscripts with early textual criticism techniques, techniques that have nearly obliterated the “Church” in Britain, there only being a remnant now relying on the true Bible.

 

K. Matto clearly describes Origen as having pagan Gnostic views placing them into fourteen points of belief which are consistent with the way “new translations” have COME OUT.

6) He believed in transubstantiation
7) He believed in the transmigration of the soul and reincarnation of the soul.
8) He doubted the temptations of Jesus in Scripture and claimed they could have never happened.
9) The Scriptures were not literal. He was the father of allegory.
10) Genesis 1-3 was a myth, not historical or literal, as there was no actual person named "Adam."
11) Based upon Matthew 19, a true man of God should be castrated, which he did to himself.
12) He taught eternal life was not a gift, instead one must grab hold of it and retain it.
13) Christ enters no man until they mentally grasp the understanding of the consummation of the ages. (It was Frederick Dennison

       Maurice in the 19th century who defined eternal life as coming to a knowledge of God. This is the essence of Gnosticism.)
14) He taught there would be no physical resurrection of the believers.

It is reported that this statue was originally the pagan god Jupiter that was taken from the Pantheon in Rome (when it was a pagan temple) and moved into St. Peter’s Basilica and renamed Peter! Jupiter was one of the chief gods of ancient Rome and was called the “pater” (father) in Latin. One foot of the statue is made of silver and Catholic pilgrims superstitiously touch or kiss it. In fact, the Vatican is one gigantic idol. The great altar over the supposed tomb of St. Peter is overwhelmed by massive, golden, spiraling columns that look like coiling serpents.

 

One can almost hear the sinister hiss. The Vatican is also a graveyard. Beneath “St. Peter’s” Basilica are rows of marble caskets containing dead Popes! A life-size statue of each Pope is carved in marble and reclines on the lid of his casket. Candles and incense are burning profusely. In the supposed tomb of Peter, 99 oil lamps are kept burning day and night. For those familiar with pagan religions, such as Hinduism and Buddhism, the origin of such things is obvious. The place is as eerie and pagan as any temple in darkest India. Pitifully deluded Catholics light their pagan candles in a vain attempt to merit God’s blessing after the fashion of benighted Hindus. There is no biblical authority for any of it. The Lord Jesus warned the Pharisees, “Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition” (Mark 7:9). The Vatican is one of the last places on earth one would expect to find the preserved Word of God.

SINAITICUS (A)

 

Containing an apparent New Testament, an Apocrypha, plus two other false books The Shepherd of Hermes & The Epistle of Barnabas, this ludicrous piece of writing omits like Vaticanus Mark 16:9-20 which declare that signs confirm the pure Word, Sinaiticus being far from pure! “New translations” commonly through Nestle Aland clearly follow this nonsensical codex as they do Vaticanus with its numerous mistakes & erasures.

For modern scholars to use such a corrupt manuscripts in “new translations” it is obvious that there is a massive plot in operation to remove the pure Word of God from the World.

 

In summary about Vaticanus and Sinaiticus James Melton wrote this:

 

 

When someone "corrects" the King James Bible with "more authoritative manuscripts" or "older manuscripts," or "the best authorities," they're usually making some reference to Sinaiticus or Vaticanus. These are two very corrupt fourth century uncials that are practically worshipped by modern scholars. These are the primary manuscripts that Westcott and Hort relied so heavily on when constructing their Greek text (1851-1871) on which the new versions are based.

Vaticanus (B) is the most worshipped. This manuscript was officially catalogued in the Vatican library in 1475, and is still property of the Vatican today. Siniaticus (Aleph) was discovered in a trash can at St. Catherine's Monastery on Mt. Sinai by Count Tischendorf, a German scholar, in the year 1844. Both B and Aleph are Roman Catholic manuscripts. Remember that! You might also familiarize yourself with the following facts:

1. Both manuscripts contain the Apocrypha as part of the Old Testament.

2. Tischendorf, who had seen both manuscripts, believed they were written by the same man, possibly Eusebius of Caesarea (260-340 A.D.).

3. Vaticanus was available to the King James translators, but God gave them sense enough to ignore it.

4. Vaticanus omits Geneses 1:1-46:28, Psalm 106-138, Matthew 16:2-3, Rom. 16:24, I Timothy through Titus, the entire book of Revelation, and it conveniently ends the book of Hebrews at Hebrews 9:14. If you're familiar with Hebrews 10, you know why.

5. While adding The Epistle of Barnabas and The Shepherd of Hermas to the New Testament, Siniaticus omits John 5:4, 8:1-11, Matthew 16:2-3, Romans 16:24, Mark 16:9-20, Acts 8:37, and I John 5:7 (just to name a few).

6. It is believed that Siniaticus has been altered by as many as ten different men. Consequently, it is a very sloppy piece of work (which is probably the reason for it being in a trash can). Many transcript errors, such as missing words and repeated sentences are found throughout it.

7. The Dutch scholar, Erasmus (1469-1536), who produced the world's first printed Greek New Testament, rejected the readings of Vaticanus and Siniaticus.

8. Vaticanus and Siniaticus not only disagree with the Majority Text from which the KJV came, they also differ from each other. In the four Gospels alone, they differ over 3,000 times!

9. When someone says that B and Aleph are the oldest available manuscripts, they are lying. There are many Syriac and Latin translations from as far back as the SECOND CENTURY that agree with the King James readings. For instance, the Pashitta (145 A.D.), and the Old Syriac (400 A.D.) both contain strong support for the King James readings. There are about fifty extant copies of the Old Latin from about 157 A.D., which is over two hundred years before Jerome was conveniently chosen by Rome to "revise" it. Then Ulfilas produced a Gothic version for Europe in A.D. 330. The Armenian Bible, which agrees with the King James, has over 1,200 extant copies and was translated by Mesrob around the year 400. In answer to NLT’s blasphemous website, one simply has to ask if its manuscripts are better than the manuscripts used by KJV translators then why is it that KJV has identified JESUS as THE SON OF GOD rather than being like a god, the answer being that the NLT has its origins in a city famous for its endeavours in trying to remove the deity of Jesus. That city is ALEXANDRIA EGYPT and only THE SON OF GOD can set you free from its bondage.

We are clearly witnessing that the one declaring himself to be “like the most high” has his own “Bibles” perhaps even more widely used today than the Bible of the true Jesus. 

Part 3: From Jerome to Rheims Douay

Jerome continued the work of Eusebius by using his corrupted works to produce a “Bible” in line with the Alexandrian tradition.

 

Developing the Catholic tradition of celibacy being superior to marriage, his theology related Mary as being in a perpetual virginic state. This state enabled her to have a key role in the salvation of the human race. Jerome continually disputed with those of the Antioch tradition calling them names like “monsters”, dogs etc. as they pointed out Jerome’s unbiblical theological positions and his unbiblical “Bible”! Jerome’s unbiblical nonsense, however, was accepted as the “Bible” of that time in the same way as “new translations” like the NIV have been accepted today even though they come from the same Egyptian base. It is common experience in Britain today for Christians of the Antioch belief to receive abuse from those of the Alexandrian persuasion with its “new translations” like NIV, NASB, AMP, NKJV etc.

 

Jerome used the term “Vulgate” for his “Bible”. One must not be confused, however with the use of the term “Vulgate” as there were earlier “Vulgates” pre-dating Jerome and we are analysing Jerome’s “Vulgate” at this stage with its Gnostic origins.

Jerome (340-420 A.D.)

A. Like Eusebius, Jerome was Roman Catholic in doctrine.

B. Jerome translated the Greek mss. of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus into Latin (called Jerome's Latin Vulgate). This was the official Bible of the Roman Catholic Church.

C. The ms. Vaticanus was placed in the Vatican library, while the ms. Sinaiticus was abandoned in a Catholic monastery, and they were not used for the next 1,500 years.

 

Codex Alexandrinus 450 A.D.

 

Before being given to the British in the seventeenth century this codex stood in Alexandria, Egypt so as to bcome a part of the corrupted “Bible” saga that still runs today.

This seems to be the lesser codex of the three main codices of the “new translations” codices with strange origins and doctrine which we see infiltrating modern “Church” life in Britain today. A clear Roman line of theology was coming into being with a definite plan to corrupt the Word and downgrade Jesus to being “a son of god” rather than the Son of God of the same substance as the Father was taking shape, this shape leading onto the Rheims-Douay “Bible” of 1582 A.D.

The “Rheims-Douay” Bible of 1582 A.D. and following Greek “New Testaments”. The doctrines of the present day U.K. “Church” were now being formed, this unashamedly Roman Catholic Bible portraying the same doctrines as today’s false “Bibles”.

 

Whilst some doctrinal stances remained the same as those being formed under the Protestant Bibles it is apparent that the downgrading of Jesus in relation to contemporary belief was well on the way.

 

We discover in Rheims Douay that Jesus had an earthly father in line with the “new translations”, a doctrinal position not consistent with Jesus being fully God. This is the Arian doctrine of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a cult of the same Alexandrian doctrine that the Roman Catholics embrace.

 

Clearly Rheims Douay was a major advance for this system of the Antichrist as we lead onto Nestle Aland and the “new translations”.

The Authorised Version clearly shows Joseph as not being Jesus father.

The heretical infiltration continues with Jesus not being worshipped in Matthew 8:2, worship being reserved for deity only which the Authorised Version fully recognises.

Wikipedia reports that Rheims Douay was part of a counter reformation from the Roman Catholic Church to counteract scriptures coming through the Protestants and their Antioch line. Rheims Douay (like all "new translations") fully Gnostic in nature!

In parts this mixture of belief systems includes doctrines taken from Tyndale’s Protestant Bible of 1525 and so one can show verses in Rheims Douay to portray Christ Jesus deity, whilst other verses contradict this truth. In other words, Rheims Douay portrays all beliefs meaning it is Gnostic in nature, a position disallowed in the one true Bible.

There is a clear distinction between the role Rheims Douay took in the counter  reformation and the difference in doctrines between the side of Rome and that of the true Protestant Church.

Part 4: The Road to Westcott & Hort

In preparation for Westcott & Hort’s works, further Alexandrian “Bibles” were to follow :

 

  • Greisbach’s “New Testament” 1805

 

Greisbach was a German textual critic producing three volumes of what he claimed to be the New Testament during 1774-1775.

He is reported to be the first critic to reject the infallibility of Mark 16:9-20, an approach consistent today with the NIV with its comments of doubt on the text. ii)  Lachmann’s  “New Testament” 1850

  • Nothing is better attested than that in which all authorities agree.

  • The agreement has less weight if part of the authorities are silent or in any way defective.

  • The evidence for a reading, when it is that of witnesses of different regions, is greater than that of witnesses of some particular place, differing either from negligence or from set purpose.

  • The testimonies are to be regarded as doubtfully balanced when witnesses from widely separated regions stand opposed to others equally wide apart.

  • Readings are uncertain which occur habitually in different forms in different regions.

  • Readings are of weak authority which are not universally attested in the same region.

He was perhaps the first textual critic to be known as an Evangelical, this criteria being commonplace today in amongst the once great Evangelical and Pentecostal movements. iv)  Tischendorf’s “New Testament” 1870

In 1844 Count Tischendorf discovered Codex Sinaiticus by Mount Sinai in a Roman Catholic Monastery. This codex  previously described was to join Codex Vaticanus as the textual critics main reference point to produce their corrupt “Bibles”.

 

The codex itself is a poor piece of writing with strange works including the Shepherd of Hermas (written by two resurrected ghosts, Charinus and Lenthius), the Missive of Barnabas and the Odes of Solomon. Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1903) and Fenton John Anthony Hort (1828-1892) have been highly controversial figures in biblical history. 

 

We cannot blindly accept the finding of any scholar without investigating what his beliefs are concerning the Bible and its doctrines. Scholarship alone makes for an inadequate and dangerous authority; therefore we are forced to scrutinize these men's lives.

A Monumental Switch

Westcott and Hort were responsible for the greatest feat in textual criticism. They were responsible for replacing the Universal Text of the Authorized Version with the Local Text of Egypt and the Roman Catholic Church. Both Westcott and Hort were known to have resented the pre-eminence given to the Authorized Version and its underlying Greek Text. They had been deceived into believing that the Roman Catholic manuscripts, Vaticanus and Aleph, were better because they were "older."

Vicious Prejudice

 

In spite of the FACT that the readings of the Universal Text were found to be as old, or older, Westcott and Hort still sought to dislodge it from its place of high standing in biblical history.

 

Westcott and Hort built their own Greek text based primarily on a few uncial MSS of the Local Text. It has been stated earlier that these perverted MSS do not even agree among themselves. The ironic thing is that Westcott and Hort knew this when they formed their text!
 

A Shocking Revelation

 

That these men should lend their influence to a family of MSS which have a history of attacking and diluting the major doctrines of the Bible, should not come as a surprise. Oddly enough, neither man believed that the Bible should be treated any differently than the writings of the lost historians and philosophers!

 

Hort wrote, "For ourselves, we dare not introduce considerations which could not reasonably be applied to other ancient texts, supposing them to have documentary attestation of equal amount, variety and antiquity."

We must consider these things for a moment. How can God use men who do not believe that His Book is any different than Shakespeare, Plato, or Dickens? It is a fundamental belief that the Bible is different from all other writings. Why did these men not believe so?
 

Blatant Disbelief

 

Their skepticism does, in fact, go even deeper. They have both become famous for being able to deny scriptural truth and still be upheld by fundamental Christianity as biblical authorities! Both Westcott and Hort failed to accept the basic Bible doctrines which we hold so dear and vital to our fundamental faith.

 

Furthermore, he took sides with the apostate authors of "Essays and Reviews."

 

Hort writes to Rev. Rowland Williams, October 21, 1858, "Further I agree with them [Authors of "Essays and Reviews"] in condemning many leading specific doctrines of the popular theology ... Evangelicals seem to me perverted rather than untrue. There are, I fear, still more serious differences between us on the subject of authority, and especially the authority of the Bible."

 

We must also confront Hort's disbelief that the Bible was infallible: "If you make a decided conviction of the absolute infallibility of the N.T. practically a sine qua non for co-operation, I fear I could not join you." He also stated:

 

"As I was writing the last words a note came from Westcott. He too mentions having had fears, which he now pronounces 'groundless,' on the strength of our last conversation, in which he discovered that I did 'recognize' 'Providente' in biblical writings. Most strongly I recognize it; but I am not prepared to say that it necessarily involves absolute infallibility. So I still await judgment."

 

And further commented to a colleague:

"But I am not able to go as far as you in asserting the absolute infallibility of a canonical writing."
 

Strange Bedfellows

 

Though unimpressed with the evangelicals of his day, Hort had great admiration for Charles Darwin! To his colleague, B.F. Westcott, he wrote excitedly: "...Have you read Darwin? How I should like to talk with you about it! In spite of difficulties, I am inclined to think it unanswerable. In any case it is a treat to read such a book."

 

And to John Ellerton he writes: "But the book which has most engaged me is Darwin. Whatever may be thought of it, it is a book that one is proud to be contemporary with ... My feeling is strong that the theory is unanswerable. If so, it opens up a new period."
 

Forsaking Colossians 2:8

 

Hort was also a lover of Greek philosophy. In writing to Mr. A. MacMillian, he stated: "You seem to make (Greek) philosophy worthless for those who have received the Christian revelation. To me, though in a hazy way, it seems full of precious truth of which I find nothing, and should be very much astonished and perplexed to find anything in revelation."

 

This statement is absolutely correct and with the framework of Melton from “Fighting Back” I produce documented proof from statements of Westcott & Hort the background as to why the British “Church” is so impotent today.

FIRST POINT: Westcott was anti-Preacher – common today in NIV “Church”: 1846 Oct. 25th - Westcott: "Is there not that in the principles of the "Evangelical" school which must lead to the exaltation of the individual minister, and does not that help to prove their unsoundness? If preaching is the chief means of grace, it must emanate not from the church, but from the preacher, and besides placing him in a false position, it places him in a fearfully dangerous one." (Life, Vol. I, pp.44,45).

 

  • Social change allows the Word to change in line with contemporary culture – so couples can live together and homosexuality be tolerated and accepted in contemporary “Church”.

 

SECOND POINT: God’s Word seems to change and develop with the time – THE SOCIAL GOSPEL IS KING TODAY in NIV “Churches”: Oct., 22nd after Trinity Sunday - Westcott: "Do you not understand the meaning of Theological 'Development'? It is briefly this, that in an early time some doctrine is proposed in a simple or obscure form, or even but darkly hinted at, which in succeeding ages, as the wants of men's minds grow, grows with them - in fact, that Christianity is always progressive in its principles and doctrines" (Life, Vol. I, p.78).

This is why the Nestle Aland Committee meets so as to change scriptures in line with culture as the Vatican and Bible Societies see it.

The 27th. edition of the Nestle-Aland text underlying all "new translations" in its introduction admits this:

The text shared by these two editions was adopted internationally by Bible Societies, and following an agreement between the Vatican and the United Bible Societies it has served as the basis  for new translations and for revisions made under their supervision. This marks a significant step with regard to inter confessional relationships. It should naturally be understood that this text is a working text (in the sense of the century-long Nestle tradition): it is not to be considered as definitive, but as a stimulus to further efforts toward defining and verifying the text of the New Testament .........

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

1861 Apr. 12th - Hort to Westcott: "Also - but this may be cowardice - I have a sort of craving that our text should be cast upon the world before we deal with matters likely to brand us with suspicion. I mean, a text, issued by men already known for what will undoubtedly be treated as dangerous heresy, will have great difficulties in finding its way to regions which it might otherwise hope to reach, and whence it would not be easily banished by subsequent alarms." (Life, Vol.I, p.445).

 

1862 Apr. 30th, May 1st - Hort: "It seems to be clearly and broadly directed to maintaining that the English clergy are not compelled to maintain the absolute infallibility of the Bible. And, whatever the truth may be, this seems just the liberty required at the present moment, if any living belief is to survive in the land." (Life, Vol.I, p.454).

 

  • Widespread acceptance and toleration of Roman Catholic theology in once great Protestant movements.

1848 July 6th - Hort: "One of the things, I think, which shows the falsity of the Evangelical notion of this subject (baptism), is that it is so trim and precise...no deep spiritual truths of the Reason are thus logically harmonious and systematic...the pure Romish view seems to me nearer, and more likely to lead to, the truth than the Evangelical...the fanaticism of the bibliolaters, among whom reading so many 'chapters' seems exactly to correspond to the Romish superstition of telling so many dozen beads on a rosary...still we dare not forsake the Sacraments, or God will forsake us...I am inclined to think that no such state as 'Eden' (I mean the popular notion) ever existed, and that Adam's fall in no degree differed from the fall of each of his descendants" (Life, Vol.I, pp.76-78).

 

1865 Sept. 27th - Westcott: "I have been trying to recall my impressions of La Salette (a marian shrine). I wish I could see to what forgotten truth Mariolatry bears witness; and how we can practically set forth the teaching of the miracles".

 

Nov. 17th - Westcott: "As far as I could judge, the 'idea' of La Salette was that of God revealing Himself now, and not in one form but in many." (Life, Vol.I. pp.251,252).

 

Oct. 17th - Hort: "I have been persuaded for many years that Mary-worship and 'Jesus'-worship have very much in common in their causes and their results." (Life, Vol.II, p.50).

 

  • Rational argument dominates “Church” thinking even in the area of the miraculous.

 

FOURTH POINT: Lack of Faith in relation to Christ Jesus Ministry: Aug. 11th - Westcott: "I never read an account of a miracle (in Scripture?) but I seem instinctively to feel its improbability, and discover some want of evidence in the account of it." (Life, Vol.I, p.52).

 

  • Evangelical “Churches” embracing the Gnostic translations have now become the “Sauls” chasing and isolating the anointed remnant.

 

.FIFTH POINT: Westcott and Hort were anti-Evangelical – yet their “Bible” is now the majority “Bible” in Evangelical Churches!!!!! 1850 May 12th - Hort: "You ask me about the liberty to be allowed to clergymen in their views of Baptism. For my own part, I would gladly admit to the ministry such as hold Gorham's view, much more such as hold the ordinary confused Evangelical notions" (Life, Vol.I, p.148).

 

July 31st - Hort: "I spoke of the gloomy prospect, should the Evangelicals carry on their present victory so as to alter the Services." (Life, Vol.I, p.160).

 

1858 Oct. 21st - Further I agree with them in condemning many leading specific doctrines of the popular theology as, to say the least, containing much superstition and immorality of a very pernmicious kind...The positive doctrines even of the Evangelicals seem to me perverted rather than untrue...There are, I fear, still more serious differences between us on the subject of authority, and especially the authority of the Bible" (Life, Vol.I, p.400).

 

  • Science before the Word of God now dominates “Church” thinking preferring to believe even an irrational argument like the “Big Bang” more than the Genesis account of creation.

 

SIXTH POINT: PRO DARWIN EVOLUTION THEORY – in line with much Evangelical view today! 1860 Apr. 3rd - Hort: "But the book which has most engaged me is Darwin. Whatever may be thought of it, it is a book that one is proud to be contemporary with. I must work out and examine the argument in more detail, but at present my feeling is strong that the theory is unanswerable." (Life, Vol.I, p.416).

1890 Mar. 4th - Westcott: "No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis, for example, give a literal history - I could never understand how any one reading them with open eyes could think they did - yet they disclose to us a Gospel. So it is probably elsewhere."

SEVENTH POINT:  CHRIST BEARING OUR SINS IS A HERESY ACCORDING TO HORT: Oct. 15th - Hort: "I entirely agree - correcting one word - with what you there say on the Atonement, having for many years believed that "the absolute union of the Christian (or rather, of man) with Christ Himself" is the spiritual truth of which the popular doctrine of substitution is an immoral and material counterfeit...Certainly nothing can be more unscriptural than the modern limiting of Christ's bearing our sins and sufferings to His death; but indeed that is only one aspect of an almost universal heresy." EIGHTH POINT: PROTESTANTISM TEMPORARY ACCORDING TO HORT: 1864 Sept. 23rd - Hort: "I believe Coleridge was quite right in saying that Christianity without a substantial Church is vanity and dissolution; and I remember shocking you and Lightfoot not so very long ago by expressing a belief that 'Protestantism' is only parenthetical and temporary. In short, the Irvingite creed (minus the belief in the superior claims of the Irvingite communion) seems to me unassailable in things ecclesiastical." (Life, Vol.II, p.30,31).

 

  • Abuse towards Textus Receptus and the Masoretic Text is widespread today in the new contemporary “Church”!

 

NINTH POINT: BLASPHEMERS TOWARDS THE REAL WORD: 1851 Dec. 29,30th - Hort: "I had no idea till the last few weeks of the importance of texts, having read so little Greek Testament, and dragged on with the villainous Textus Receptus.. Think of that vile Textus Receptus leaning entirely on late MSS.; it is a blessing there are such early ones" (Life, Vol.I, p.211).

 

Sept. 29th - Westcott to Hort: "As to our proposed recension of the New Testament text, our object would be, I suppose, to prepare a text for common and general use...With such an end in view, would it not be best to introduce only certain emendations into the received text, and to note in the margin such as seem likely or noticeable - after Griesbach's manner?...I feel most keenly the disgrace of circulating what I feel to be falsified copies of Holy Scripture (a reference to the A.V.?), and am most anxious to provide something to replace them. This cannot be any text resting solely on our own judgment, even if we were not too inexperienced to make one; but it must be supported by a clear and obvious preponderance of evidence. The margin wiil give ample scope for our own ingenuity or principles...my wish would be to leave the popular received text except where it is clearly wrong." (Life, Vol.I, pp.228,229).

 

May 5th - Westcott to Hort: "at present I find the presumption in favour of the absolute truth - I reject the word infallibility - of Holy Scripture overwhelming." (Life, Vol.I, p.207).

  • Westcott & Hort’s corruption with Nestle Aland is widely referred to as the “original Greek” changing the perspective of so many former readers of the pure Word of God.

 

TENTH POINT: Westcott and Hort’s new “original Greek” contrary to Nicene Creed: Aug. ? - Hort to Lightfoot: "It is, I think, difficult to measure the weight of acceptance won beforehand for the Revision by the single fact of our welcoming an Unitarian, if only the Company perseveres in its present serious and faithful spirit." (Life, Vol.II, p.140). (Dr. G. Vance Smith, a Unitarian scholar, was a member of the Revision Committee. At Westcott's suggestion, a celebration of Holy Communion was held on June 22nd before the first meeting of the N.T. Revision Company. Dr. Smith communicated but said afterwards that he did not join in reciting the Nicene Creed and did not compromise his principles as a Unitarian. The storm of public indignation which followed almost wrecked the Revision at the outset. At length however Dr. Smith remained on the Committee).

1. Westcott was a firm believer in Mary worship, and Hort claimed that Mary worship had a lot in common with Jesus worship.

Oct. 17th - Hort: "I have been persuaded for many years that Mary-worship and 'Jesus'-worship have very much in common in their causes and their results." (Life, Vol.II, p.50).

 

Dr. Westcott was of the same persuasion:

2. Hort believed in keeping Roman Catholic sacraments.

3. Hort believed in baptismal regeneration as taught in the Catholic church.

 

    "...at the same time in language stating that we maintain 'Baptismal Regeneration' as the most important of doctrines ... the pure 'Romish' view seems to me nearer, and more likely to lead to, the truth than the Evangelical."106  Hort, Arthur Fenton, Life and Letters of Fenton John Anthony Hort, (New York, 1896),  p. 76.

 

He also states that, "Baptism assures us that we are children of God, members of Christ and His body, and heirs of the heavenly kingdom." Ibid., Volume II, p. 81.

 

  “In fact, Hort's heretical view of baptism probably cost his own son his eternal soul, as we find Hort assuring his eldest son, Arthur, that his infant baptism was his salvation” writes Samuel Gipp:

While yet an infant you were claimed for God by being made in Baptism an unconscious member of His Church, the great Divine Society which has lived on unceasingly from the Apostles' time till now. You have been surrounded by Christian influences; taught to lift up your eyes to the Father in heaven as your own Father; to feel yourself in a wonderful sense a member or part of Christ, united to Him by strange invisible bonds; to know that you have as your birthright a share in the kingdom of heaven." 4. Hort rejected the infallibility of Scripture & Westcott agreed with him!

 

Hort wrote, "For ourselves, we dare not introduce considerations which could not reasonably be applied to other ancient texts, supposing them to have documentary attestation of equal amount, variety and antiquity."88

 

    He also states, "In the New Testament, as in almost all prose writings which have been much copied, corruptions by interpolation are many times more numerous than corruptions by omission." 89

5. Hort took great interest in the works of Charles Darwin, while both he and Westcott rejected the literal account of Creation.

 

"I am inclined to think that no such state as 'Eden'(I mean the popular notion) ever existed, and that Adam's fall in no degree differed from the fall of each of his descendants, as Coleridge justly argues."90

 

    Furthermore, he took sides with the apostate authors of "Essays and Reviews."

 

    Hort writes to Rev. Rowland Williams, October 21, 1858, "Further I agree with them [Authors of "Essays and Reviews"] in condemning many leading specific doctrines of the popular theology ... Evangelicals seem to me perverted rather than untrue. There are, I fear, still more serious differences between us on the subject of authority, and especially the authority of the Bible."91

6. Westcott did not believe in the Second Coming of Christ, the Millennium, or a literal Heaven.

 

"No doubt the language of the Rubric is unguarded, but it saves us from the error of connecting the Presence of Christ's glorified humanity with place; 'heaven is a state and not a place.'" 124

 

    "Yet the unseen is the largest part of life. Heaven lies about us now in infancy alone; and by swift, silent pauses for thought, for recollection, for aspiration, we cannot only keep fresh the influence of that diviner atmosphere, but breathe it more habitually." 125

 7. Both men rejected the doctrine of a literal Hell, and they supported prayers for the dead in purgatory.

 

(Hell is) not the place of punishment of the guilty, (it is) the common abode of departed spirits. (Westcott, Historic Faith, pp.77-78).
We have no sure knowledge of future punishment, and the word eternal has a far higher meaning. (Hort, Life and Letters, Vol. I, p.149).

"I think Maurice's letter to me sufficiently showed that we have no sure knowledge respecting the duration of future punishment, and that the word 'eternal' has a far higher meaning than the merely material one of excessively long duration; extinction always grates against my mind as something impossible."99

 

    "Certainly in my case it proceeds from no personal dread; when I have been living most godlessly, I have never been able to frighten myself with visions of a distant future, even while I 'held' the doctrine."100

To Rev. John Ellerton he wrote in 1854:

 

    "I agree with you in thinking it a pity that Maurice verbally repudiates purgatory, but I fully and unwaveringly agree with him in the three cardinal points of the controversy: (1) that eternity is independent of duration; (2) that the power of repentance is not limited to this life; (3) that it is not revealed whether or not all will ultimately repent. The modern denial of the second has, I suppose, had more to do with the despiritualizing of theology then almost anything that could be named."101

    "The idea of purgation, of cleansing as by fire, seems to me inseparable from what the Bible teaches us of the Divine chastisements; and, though little is directly said resecting the future state, it seems to me incredible that the Divine chastisements should in this respect change their character when this visible life is ended.

 

    "I do not hold it contradictory to the Article to think that the condemned doctrine has not been wholly injurious, inasmuch as it has kept alive some sort of belief in a great and important truth."102

While working on their Greek text (1851-1871), and while working on the Revision Committee for the Revised Version (1871-1881), Westcott and Hort were also keeping company with "seducing spirits and doctrines of devils" (I Tim. 4:1). Both men took great interest in occult practices and clubs.

 

They started the Hermes Club in 1845, the Ghostly Guild in 1851, and Hort joined a secret club called The Apostles in the same year. They also started the Eranus Club in 1872. These were spiritualist groups which believed in such unscriptural practices as communicating with the dead (necromancy).

"In June (F.J.A. Hort) joined the mysterious Company of the Apostles . . . He was mainly responsible for the wording of an oath which binds members to a conspiracy of silence . . . Two other societies. . . were started . . . in both of which Hort seems to have been the moving spirit . . . the other called by its members ‘The Ghostly Guild.' The object was to collect and classify authenticated instances of what are now called ‘psychical phenomena’ . . . the 'Bogie Club' as scoffers called it, aroused a certain amount of derision, and even some alarm; it was apparently born too soon." 1828 Apr. 23rd - Fenton John Anthony Hort born at Dublin.

1851 Dec. 21st - Westcott ordained "priest" in Church of England.

1851 Dec. 29,30th - Hort: "I had no idea till the last few weeks of the importance of texts, having read so little Greek Testament, and dragged on with the villainous Textus Receptus.. Think of that vile Textus Receptus leaning entirely on late MSS.; it is a blessing there are such early ones" (Life, Vol.I, p.211).

1853 Jan.-Mar. - Westcott and Hort agree upon plan of a joint revision of the text of the Greek Testament.

Apr. 19th - Hort: "He (Westcott) and I are going to edit a Greek text of the New Testament some two or three years hence, if possible." (Life, Vol.I, p.250).

June - Mr. Daniel Macmillan suggests to Hort that he should take part in an interesting and comprehensive 'New Testament Scheme.' Hort was to edit the text in conjunction with Mr. Westcott; the latter was to be responsible for a commentary, and Lightfoot was to contribute a N.T. Grammar and Lexicon. (Life, Vol.I, pp.240,241).

Sept. 29th - Westcott to Hort: "As to our proposed recension of the New Testament text, our object would be, I suppose, to prepare a text for common and general use...With such an end in view, would it not be best to introduce only certain emendations into the received text, and to note in the margin such as seem likely or noticeable - after Griesbach's manner?...I feel most keenly the disgrace of circulating what I feel to be falsified copies of Holy Scripture (a reference to the A.V.?), and am most anxious to provide something to replace them. This cannot be any text resting solely on our own judgment, even if we were not too inexperienced to make one; but it must be supported by a clear and obvious preponderance of evidence. The margin wiil give ample scope for our own ingenuity or principles...my wish would be to leave the popular received text except where it is clearly wrong." (Life, Vol.I, pp.228,229).

Nov. 4th - Hort: "I went down and spent a Sunday with Westcott...We came to a distinct and positive understanding about our Gk. Test. and the details thereof. We still do not wish it to be talked about, but are going to work at once, and hope we may perhaps have it out in little more than a year." (Life, Vol.I, p.264).

1857 Feb. 23rd - Hort to Westcott: "I hope to go on with the New Testament text more unremittingly" (Life, Vol.I, p.355).

First efforts to secure revision of the Authorised Version by five Church of England clergymen.

1858 Oct. 21st - Hort: "The principle literary work of these years was the revision of the Greek Text of the New Testament. All spare hours were devoted to it." (Life, Vol.I, p.399).

1860 May 1st - Hort to Lightfoot: "If you make a decided conviction of the absolute infallibility of the N.T. practically a sine qua non for co-operation, I fear I could not join you, even if you were willing to forget your fears about the origin of the Gospels." (Life, Vol. I, p.420).

May 4th - Hort to Lightfoot: "I am also glad that you take the same provisional ground as to infallibility that I do." (Life, Vol.I, p.424).

May 5th - Westcott to Hort: "at present I find the presumption in favour of the absolute truth - I reject the word infallibility - of Holy Scripture overwhelming." (Life, Vol.I, p.207).

May 18th - Hort to Lightfoot: "It sounds an arrogant thing to say, but there are very many cases in which I would not admit the competence of any one to judge a decision of mine on a textual matter, who was only an amateur, and had not some considerable experience in forming a text." (Life, Vol.I, p.425).

1861 Apr. 12th - Hort to Westcott: "Also - but this may be cowardice - I have a sort of craving that our text should be cast upon the world before we deal with matters likely to brand us with suspicion. I mean, a text, issued by men already known for what will undoubtedly be treated as dangerous heresy, will have great difficulties in finding its way to regions which it might otherwise hope to reach, and whence it would not be easily banished by subsequent alarms." (Life, Vol.I, p.445).

1862 Apr. 30th, May 1st - Hort: "It seems to be clearly and broadly directed to maintaining that the English clergy are not compelled to maintain the absolute infallibility of the Bible. And, whatever the truth may be, this seems just the liberty required at the present moment, if any living belief is to survive in the land." (Life, Vol.I, p.454).

1870 Westcott and Hort print tentative edition of their Greek N.T. for private distribution only. (This they later circulated under pledge of secrecy within the company of N.T. revisers, of which they were members).

Feb. 10th - Southern Convocation of Church of England resolve on desirability of revision of A.V. Northern Convocation declines to cooperate.

May - Committee of 18 elected to produce a Revised Version.

The 7 members of the N.T. Committee invite 18 others, making 25.

May 29th - Westcott to Hort: "though I think that Convocation is not competent to initiate such a measure, yet I feel that as 'we three' are together it would be wrong not to 'make the best of it' as Lightfoot says. Indeed, there is a very fair prospect of good work, though neither with this body nor with any body likely to be formed now could a complete textual revision be possible. There is some hope that alternative readings might find a place in the margin." (Life, Vol.I, p.390).

June 4th - Westcott to Lightfoot: "Ought we not to have a conference before the first meeting for Revision? There are many points on which it is important that we should agreed. The rules though liberal are vague, and the interpretation of them will depend upon decided action at first." (Life, Vol.I, p.391).

July 1st - Westcott to Hort: "The Revision on the whole surprised me by prospects of hope. I suggested to Ellicott a plan of tabulating and circulating emendations before our meeting, which may prove valuable." (Life, Vol.I, pp.392,393).

July 7th - Hort: "Dr. Westcott and myself have for above seventeen years been preparing a Greek text of the New Testament. It has been in the press for some years, and we hope to have it out early next year." (Life, Vol.II, p.137).

Aug. ? - Hort to Lightfoot: "It is, I think, difficult to measure the weight of acceptance won beforehand for the Revision by the single fact of our welcoming an Unitarian, if only the Company perseveres in its present serious and faithful spirit." (Life, Vol.II, p.140). (Dr. G. Vance Smith, a Unitarian scholar, was a member of the Revision Committee. At Westcott's suggestion, a celebration of Holy Communion was held on June 22nd before the first meeting of the N.T. Revision Company. Dr. Smith communicated but said afterwards that he did not join in reciting the Nicene Creed and did not compromise his principles as a Unitarian. The storm of public indignation which followed almost wrecked the Revision at the outset. At length however Dr. Smith remained on the Committee).

1881 Bishop Ellicott submits the Revised Version to the Southern Convocation.

May 12th - Westcott and Hort's "The New Testament in the Original Greek" Vol. I published (Text and short Introduction).

May 17th - the Revised Version is published in England, selling two million copies within four days. It fails however to gain lasting popular appeal.

Sept. 4th - Westcott and Hort's "The New Testament in the Original Greek" Vol.II published (Introduction and Appendix).

Oct. - first of Dean Burgon's three articles in the Quarterly Review against the Revised Version appears.

1882 May - Ellicott publishes pamphlet in reply to Burgon, defending the Westcott and Hort Greek text.

1883 Burgon publishes The Revision Revised, including a reply to Ellicott.

1890 May 1st - Westcott consecrated Bishop of Durham.

1892 Nov. 30th - death of Hort.

1901 July 27th - death of Westcott.

1908 The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopaedia discusses the Westcott-Hort theory: "Conscious agreement with it or conscious disagreement and qualification mark all work in this field since 1881."

1881 was a defining date in relation to the “new translations” brainwashing” even the elect to have strange doctrines and strange manifestations of the “spirit” confirming what is and will always be counterfeits

Part 6: Nestle-Aland 1898

Following on from the considerable work of Westcott and Hort we now have the Nestle Aland text based on the now called “original Greek” of spiritualists Bishops Westcott & Hort. The text has the usual Gnostic corruptions to form a base for the end time “Anti-Christ” religion that is set to combine all religions into one, and so a “Bible” that emphasizes Christ Jesus deity and Christ Jesus being the only way to God has no place.

 

My wife who has studied Ancient Greek for many years, and is a Classics graduate of St. Andrews University has looked at Antichrist Scriptures in Nestle Aland.

I Timothy 3:16

NESTLE ALAND: 3:16 και ομολογουμενως μεγα εστιν το της ευσεβειας μυστηριον ος εφανερωθη εν σαρκι εδικαιωθη εν πνευματι ωφθη αγγελοις εκηρυχθη εν εθνεσιν επιστευθη εν κοσμω ανελημφθη εν δοξη  

 

Translation: And without controversy/by common consent great is the mystery of holiness/godliness who was revealed/made manifest in flesh was justified in spirit was seen/appeared to angels was proclaimed/announced in the nations (usually means ‘Gentiles’) was believed on in the world was taken up in glory.

 

Line 2: ος in Nestle Aland means “who” – could be anybody!; Textus Receptus says qeos - clearly GOD!

 

Line 4: Nestle Aland uses the verb anelhmfqh; Textus Receptus has the better Greek version, anelhfqh, which is the aorist passive of ana-lambanw [meaning: to take up]. It would seem apparent that anelhmfqh is either  corrupted Greek, or inferior Greek of another dialect.

Luke 2:33

 

2:33 και ην ο πατηρ αυτου και η μητηρ θαυμαζοντες επι τοις λαλουμενοις περι αυτου

 

Translation: And there was his father and mother wondering/being amazed at/upon the things that were spoken about/concerning him.

There are serious discrepancies here, especially concerning the identity of Jesus’ father. Nestle Aland makes Joseph Jesus’ father - o pathr autou [lit. ‘the father of him’]. Not only has pathr been substituted for Iwshf but the word autou [meaning ‘his’ or ‘of him’] has been moved to be next to pathr to emphasise his father, making Jesus no longer God. In contrast, Textus Receptus is clear on this “and Joseph and his mother,” – in the Greek, h mhthr autou.

 

Philippians 2:6

2:6 ος εν μορφη θεου υπαρχων ουχ αρπαγμον ηγησατο το ειναι ισα θεω

 

Translation: Who beginning/being/being there or in existence in the form/shape/appearance of (a) god did not reckon/believe/suppose equality/equal rights with (a) god to be a prize/a seizing (lit. ‘something to be grabbed/snatched’).

 

In line 1, Nestle Aland has sinisterly changed Qeou, meaning God (Textus Receptus) to qeou, meaning a god. Simply by removing the capital letter Q Nestle Aland have again denied Jesus’ divinity – as in Daniel 3:25 where the fourth person who appears in the fiery furnace is described in their ‘version’ as “a son of the gods.”

 

Also in line 1, Textus Receptus has added a comma after uparcwn to make better sense (no punctuation used in any ancient MSS). This is a tricky passage. In line 2, Nestle Aland have again removed the divinity of the Son of God by eliminating the capital letter as follows: isa qew meaning ‘equality with a god.’ Textus Receptus says isa Qew [equality with God].

 

John 1:3

1:3 παντα δι αυτου εγενετο και χωρις αυτου εγενετο ουδε εν ο γεγονεν

 

Translation: All things happened/came into being/were born by/through him and apart from/without/independent of him happened/came into being/was born not one thing which was born/happened/came into being.

 

This is the same as the Textus Receptus, with one variation: Textus Receptus has added a comma after the first egeneto. Note in this verse the general emphasis on creation, with the verb gignomai [to happen/come into being] used three times in one verse.

 

The crucial point however is the meaning of the Greek preposition dia which occurs in both texts used with the genitive case ending: di’autou. To avoid all ambiguity,  the clear meaning of the phrase as used here is causal with Jesus as the agent – ‘all things were made by him.’ – since nothing (not one thing) was made without him!

 

(Note from DG – we have to ask, therefore, why “new translations have chosen “through him” – I believe a choice of Antichrist)

I John 5:7

 

5:7 οτι τρεις εισιν οι μαρτυρουντες [NB the whole of the rest of this verse is missing – see note below!!!]

 

Translation: That/because there are three who bear witness…

 

There are very major differences here. Nestle Aland have omitted most of the verse, and by so doing, have left out any reference to heaven and earth or to the different witnesses therein. Furthermore, the fact that Nestle Aland have missed out a whole verse on the witnesses in heaven, leaving only the witnesses on earth, proves that they are ruled by the god of this world! Here is the full verse, with Textus Receptus.

 

oti treis eisin oi martunountes en tw ouranw, o pathr, o logos, kai to Agion Pneuma kai outoi oi treis en eisi. kai treis eisin oi marturountes en th gh, [verse 8 to pneuma kai to udwr kai to aima kai oi treis eis to en eisin]. ”That there are three that bear witness in heaven, the father, the word, and the Holy Spirit and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in the earth, the spirit and the water and the blood and the three are into one.”

 

So, according to Nestle Aland, there are no witnesses in heaven, and no Holy Spirit! Also, John is big into the logos [the Word] in his gospel and his letters – yet Nestle Aland omits this here!

 

I Peter 2:7

2:7 υμιν ουν η τιμη τοις πιστευουσιν απιστουσιν δε λιθος ον απεδοκιμασαν οι οικοδομουντες ουτος εγενηθη εις κεφαλην γωνιας

 

Translation: To/for you therefore who believe (is) the worship/honour but to/for those disbelieving the stone which the builders rejected, this has become/been made into the head of the corner.

 

Yet again, there are some serious omissions here. In line 1, the Textus Receptus put a comma (pause) after pisteuousin [‘those who believe’] to enhance the contrast between them and the others. Also in line 1, Nestle Aland use a completely different, and more compromising, verb from Textus Receptus:

 

Textus Receptus - apeiqousin [‘the disobedient’] from the verb a-peiqw;

 

Nestle Aland - apisteuousin [‘the disbelieving /distrusting’] from the verb a-pistew. This verb can also mean the same as a-peiqw [to disobey] but nevertheless the sense created by this erroneous ‘text’ is one of compromising intellectualism; disbelief of the intellect as opposed to disobedience of the heart towards God.

 

Finally, in line 2, Textus Receptus preserves the divinity of the precious only begotten Son of God by spelling Liqon with a capital letter: ‘the Stone’ signifying the uniqueness of Jesus. Nestle Aland follow their usual polytheistic pattern by using liqos  ‘a/the stone.’ It is also true that Textus Receptus uses not only a capital letter, but also a different case ending for the noun liqos:

 

Textus Receptus - Liqon [accusative case to match the next word on meaning ‘which’]

 

Nestle Aland - liqos [nominative case used of the subject of the sentence but not agreeing with on].

 

Guess which is the better Greek!!! (rhetorical question of course).

 

Conclusion: Serious and gross corruption has crept into the heart of the Church and must be confronted and removed. Read Nehemiah 13 to see scriptural example of this and the uncompromising principles of Nehemiah who restored holiness to the nation through the true Word of the Lord.

Clear differences then between Nestle Aland & Textus Receptus!

Part 7: The Remnant - What can we do?

The example is with Elijah. Elijah suffered great persecution and isolation as a result of a physical Queen who sought to destroy the prophets of God, and their work.

 

Like Elijah, we have been in a cave awaiting the day when God would call us out to confront the Prophets of Baal. For years we have wandered from mountain top to mountain top confronting the many devils of the Antichrist system.

 

Few have stayed with us because we have not succumbed to the new World Order so active in establishment “churches” and groupings. What we have done, however is align ourselves with the early Pentecostal & Holiness pioneers of the twentieth century, men who stood on the real Word of God proclaiming the victory of the real Christ Jesus rather than an apparent victory of the counterfeit “Jesus” of the Alexandrian “Bibles” who is Lucifer in his form of “Antichrist”.

 

This is why so many have been hurt in “churches”, because the apparent love being shown has been the kind of love Jezebel embraced in Samaria – a love that tolerates sin rather than challenges it! The spirit of Jezebel is alive today in most British “churches” for now Antichrist has removed the Sword, there is no weapon to fight her.

 

Many have escaped to house-groups but God is in the business of restoring his REAL CHURCH – crying out to those who have one foot in one camp and one foot in another to step out fully and join a Church that is now stepping out of its cave to face the Prophets of Baal, and beheading them in a spiritual rather than physical sense.

 

Such a Church is the Bible College of Wales Continuing carrying on the work of the early Pioneers who warned of the infiltration of “higher criticism” that even in 1924 was beginning to have a hold.

The AOG particularly warned of the “Higher Criticism” of Germany, there being strong evidence that the NKJV translators used a counterfeit German “Majority Text” to produce its false “Bible”, this counterfeit being produced by Baron Von Soden, a German textual critic. The translators then referred to Nestle Aland in its footnotes! A textual critic is not someone who simply has honest and legitimate questions about who Jesus Christ is, or what Christianity is about. A textual critic is not a layman, and a textual critic is not someone who is interested in an honest discussion about the accurate truths of Christianity and the Bible.

 

A Textual Critic is a person who had committed themselves to the wilful and conscious opposition of the Bible as the Word of God, and the Rejection of Jesus Christ, and His claims to be the only and only Begotten Son of God, and the true Saviour of the World.

 

Background & History of Textual Criticism

 

Now that we have seen an illustration of Textual Criticism, here is some of the background of this movement, which very much affects Evangelicals and their Bible Translations. 

 

"Textual Criticism" is the name of a historical movement which began in Europe as a rejection of the Protestant Reformation. It was rooted in the desire to dethrone God, and to ensure that the Protestant faith would be "undermined from within". As a result of this strategy, many of the Textual critics from the 1700s through the 1900s have been Protestants. However they were very unusual Protestants, in that these Protestant Textual Critics did not sincerely believe the Bible: they consciously rejected Jesus Christ and the claims of the Bible. 

 

Because the Bible is so critically important to the life of a Christian, these Textual Critics began their attacks on Christianity with attacks on the Bible. Several of the Critics that we discuss below...are examples of those who used their academic or pastoral background to actually try and harm Christianity. 

The Fact is that Textual Criticism was an attempt by scholars to use their ability to argue intellectually that the Bible could not be true, and could not be the True Word of God. This was their thrust. It was - and remains today - their goal to demonstrate the Bible to be a book that could not and cannot be counted on, and they failed miserably. But not before they did a lot of damage, by misleading the innocent.

 

Textual Critics pretend both that they are the friends of Christians, the friends of laymen, and the friends of the Bible. But they are nothing of the kind. They are like the false friends who misled Pilgrim, in the great Christian classic "Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan. 

 

They can accomplish far more by pretending to be the friend of Christianity rather than by openly stating that they are its enemy. So they often take a dual approach: they are friendly in their personal interactions, but they are very critical of Christianity, the Bible and Jesus Christ...in the books and articles that they write. 


It was Textual Critics who formulated the theory that the Jews could not have written the Pentateuch because "writing" had not been around in that part of the world. Then they started finding writing in that part of the world, and inscriptions written in Hebrew. But they were proven wrong.

It was Textual Critics who formulated the theory that the Bible was not to be trusted because the Hittite Empire had been alleged to exist in the Bible, but it supposedly had not existed because there was no proof. Then, Oxford Professor A.H. Sayce and others released the results of excavations in the Near East demonstrating that the Hittite Empire DID exist. But they were proven wrong.

It was Textual Critics who formulated the theory that the Bible could not be trusted because Elohim and Jehovah/Yahweh were actually two totally separate Gods that the Bible had mistaken and somehow confounded by getting sources confused. They alleged therefore that Moses could not have written the Pentateuch. [This is the position of Hebrew "scholar" & Bible attacker Rudolph Kittel]. But they were proven wrong. Others came along to demonstrate that the Bible and its method of transmission was eminently trustworthy.

Textual Critics are to theology what evolutionists are to science. They claim to have evidence (which supports their attack on the Bible). But they are constantly proven to be wrong, so they simply keep changing tactics and hope that others will not notice.

As Textual Critics understood that they would have more trouble attacking the Bible on a historical basis and archeological basis, they started attacking the Text itself - and replacing it with their texts...that they asserted were superior. In so doing, they were departing from the reformation, from the Bibles used by the Waldensians, and from the Greek Manuscripts that authenticate the old and historic Textus Receptus.

Westcott and Hort were not in opposition to Textual Criticism. On the Contrary ! They were rather Textual Critics themselves, and represented the height of the movement of Textual Criticism. Their work was designed to intentionally change the Bible and the Theology of the Christian Church.

 

The Goal of a Textual Critic is for their criticism of the Bible to serve as a permanent stumbling block to you in your life and spiritual walk.  

 They do not need to convince you that the Bible is totally wrong. That task would be far too difficult - even for them. Their goal is to lead you ...into doubt, and then to use those doubts to undermine your faith. 

 

Most Textual Critics - off the record - know that they will not be able to mislead you entirely. Their goal starts with more modesty: to convince you that a piece of the Bible, or a certain Book of the Bible - cannot be relied on. Doubt is the main tool they count on. And they also count on our not being able to find out how many errors they have made in the past. 

 

They have an effective strategy: it is to continue to teach the same old mistakes that have been previously shown to be false. Now of course, that may initially seem a bit odd. But think about it; the new students coming into universities and seminaries do not know that those mistakes have been refuted or addressed or effectively met before. They were not there, when those mistakes and false statements were refuted a hundred years ago. In this manner, Textual Critics continue to use many of the same and tired arguments that they have used before. 

 

The solution to that strategy ? Dust off the old books, and find out how those Textual Critics were refuted. Too many people today are under the false impression that Textual Critics have made progress through the decades. What is actually true is the exact opposite: The More time passes by, and the more discoveries are made and tests are applied to the Bible, the More the Bible demonstrates itself to be unsurpassed in historical and archeological accuracy.

 

But the Textual Critics of today - (and this movement still exists today) - cannot help themselves. In their articles and books, they cannot help but praise those Bible Attackers who came before them, for whom they have an almost holy reverence.  They know their time is short. To learn how to defend our faith is the answer. We begin by studying a small amount of information on the first Textual Critics, their approaches and their arguments. 

 

Learning how to refute them is never a waste of time, because we know that we will confront their same arguements today, either in a classroom or a seminary or in a church. Many pastors today have been misled by the Textual Critics. A good joke that we laugh at - is the contention that Westcott and Hort were refuting Textual Critics. 

 

The fact is that Westcott & Hort WERE the Textual Critics. This is kind of like the wolves insisting that they are really sheep. Some pastors just accept those folktales, wanting to be thought-of as modern or "sophisticated". Those who do accept the work of the Textual Critics - are not "modern" but rather only "deceived". We need to get our eyes back on Jesus Christ, and worry far less about the opinions of men. The solution is to come out from among the Textual Critics, denounce their works, and begin to diligently apply ourselves to being able to present a ready defense and a reason for the hope that lies within us.

I CAN EMPHATICALLY SAY THAT THIS CRITICAL APPROACH TO THEOLOGY broke down and destroyed numerous ministries during my time at what was Elim Bible College causing God to emphatically warn me about accepting a degree coming from the very same theology department AOG had warned about in 1924.

The warning of AOG in 1924 was an emphatic one, this very same denomination along with Elim and the Apostolic Church of Wales being so much bound today by the critical infiltrations its pioneers warned against.

Part 8: The 95 Theses of 2007

Over three nights God spoke this Word through me to spiritually place on doors of “Church” groupings and denominations that had fallen under the Alexandrian spell.

 

Bound by the rational thinking of textual criticism, replies were few and negative but God is in the business of restoring the Church back to himself with our nation being freed from the curse of Rome.

 

With the heart of love we have acted as Peter acted in the case of Ananias and Sapphira, Acts 5:1-10; as Paul acted in the case of Elymas the sorcerer, Acts 13:.9-11 delivering these groupings and denominations to Satan for the destruction of the flesh to bring them to the place of their founders with total reliance on God rather than the intellectualism of textual criticism. John 5: 30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

 

Under the present situation most of our nation’s theological training is polluted bringing to nought the many degrees and qualifications the Alexandrian system has brought forth. Educational qualifications brought about through teachers brainwashed by the critical approaches are an abomination to God and so our nation has to repent and restore the Authorized Version back to its prime position so once more we can have GCSE’s, A Levels and degrees based on the true Word of God.

 

II Cor. 4: 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Those of the remnant who have suffered great persecution and financial isolation have to be restored back to the position of taking the lead in our nation, a nation to be once more on its knees before God. Yet thou hast stood silent as the nation has stood under the paths of judgement. ‘Cry aloud & spare not’ is My cry. Yet thou hast stood by & allowed the nation to wallow in sin. Thou art to bring back the family of Mum & Dad under God, in holy matrimony – that is, holy covenant. Thou art to proclaim to homosexuals the error of their ways, & to introduce them to a Saviour Who holds out His arms to the repentant sinner. To the paedophile, thou art to cast out the curse of Molech from a nation that slaughters its innocents through the ungodly curse of abortion.

“Within these theses is a warning to thy nation to turn back to the Risen Christ, removing the Gnostic abominations, which thou hast called a Bible. “THESES (31): As thou hast stood against Catholicism in the past, so thou must stand today against its infiltration into the affairs of state. Thy parliament in Edinburgh is an abomination to Me, as it seeks to pass laws in contravention to the Holy Scriptures, so it lies in your capital city as a symbol of the curse upon thy nation. Thy elections will never run smoothly whilst you continue in your act of rebellion to the Act of Union. Thou will never have a Flower again, whilst one rebels against the covenant the Reformation fathers fought for.  

 

“THESES (32): I have called thy nation to be a nation of Covenanters, & now the nation must bear the consequences of breaking its covenant with Me.

 

“The next series of theses are for Wales.

 

“THESES (33): Thou must reject the dragon: Thou must reject the dragon! For whilst you have the symbol of defeat upon thy flag, so thou wilt be reliant on hand-outs to fulfil the affairs of state.

“THESES (37): Thou still hast in thy midst some of the miners of old, who used to sing praises to Me. I hear no more the heart of the miner, but instead see so-called churches of secular humanism & despair. I refer your nation to Deuteronomy 28, & declare your nation to be cursed with a curse, for not continuing the revival of Moriah, & before that, of William Williams.

 

“THESES 38: Your nation sings ‘Bread of Heaven’ at the Millennium Stadium, yet waves a symbol which William Williams would not tolerate. Return to the flag of David, or be cursed with a curse that your European Community will not be able to get you out of.

 

“THESES (39): Your National Eisteddfod is a disgrace to Me, at which you seek to honour the works of man, rather than the bloodstained pages of Holy Scripture. “THESES (40): I have called all of Ireland into this covenant: I see no division between North & South. Patrick was neither Catholic nor Protestant. He was the portrayer of sound doctrine for the whole of the island of Ireland. His doctrine of the Godhead was correct, & I have called this island of Ireland to be portrayers of sound doctrine. But in the South, thou hast allowed in the doctrines of Rome, & built up altars to false gods. And in the North, I have brought together the leaders of nationalism & the leaders known as Protestant.

 

“As thou accepts, & receives, the bloodstained pages of the Authorised Version, thou wilt see that the doctrine of Patrick can only be supported through the bloodstained pages authorised by King James. The Catholic translations are not in line with this doctrine.

 

“I call the whole of Ireland to come back to this doctrine of Patrick.

 

“The next series of theses is for England.

 

“THESES (41): Your Parliament is known as the mother of parliaments. There are those who have associated the genealogy of your monarch back to David. Along with Scotland, Ireland & Wales, you have sent missionaries all over the world – yet now, you are a nation full of fear & despondency. I am calling your parliament once more to restore the powers given to Wales & Scotland back to Westminster; the affairs of Ireland, though being administrated in Ireland, coming once more under the monarch, the monarch not being seen as Queen or King of England, but of the lineage of David, in holy covenant with Me.

 

“The people of Southern Ireland must decide whether to come under this, or the curse of the bondwoman.

 

“THESES (42): Thou art sitting on a time-bomb of racial hatred & mistrust. Thou must re-establish your Constitution & declare Jesus as being the only way to God. Hence, you say in your rituals, “Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

 

“THESES (43): Thou art to restore the House of Lords & the House of Bishops back to its original state. Warn the politicians: “Do not touch the landmark of your Constitutional Acts.”

 

“Give warning to Charles not even to think about changing the Act establishing the Coronation Oath (1689).

 

“THESES (44): I have called thy nation to be politically incorrect in the world. Thy nation is called to be the manifestation of I, the Great I AM. Thou art to repent of the sins of thy forefathers that suppressed & hurt the peoples of the Empire, & at the same time thanking God for the blessings of the Empire.

 

“For I have caused thee to have an economic covenant with the Commonwealth of nations that brings about a COMMON WEALTH - & thou art to trade in holy covenant rather than the binding & controlling clutches of the Treaty of Rome.

“THESES (45): Thou hast removed the landmark of a Protestant nation by failing to act upon the foundations of your forefathers. Your nation is under flood, debt & despair. Why not come back to Me, so that I may give thee life?”

“THESES (46): Thy festivals are a disgrace unto Me; wandering around, wondering what to buy. Thy Christmases are to worship other gods, far from Me. Easter is a pagan festival, uncalled for by My Word. What I require is your 24-hour attention to My words. Attend to My words: they are life to those who find; healing to thy flesh; & peace to thy hearts.

 

“What do thy festivals do? Bring stress & death. My Word brings life.

 

“THESES (47): Thy Sundays are an abomination to Me. Thou art to close down all things except the very essential services to the elderly & the infirm, & bring the whole nation unto God, the Creator of heaven & earth.

 

“THESES (48): Thou art to remove all learning in your schools which is not of Me; for unless I am seen as Creator of all things, then learning is folly.

 

“THESES (49): Thou art to remove honour from those who do not trust in Me; for unless I am seen as the Giver of gifts, then an honour to celebrate human achievement is folly.

 

“THESES (50): Thou art to move into my presence as a nation. Great Britain has been chosen to be a spiritual example to the world, & I am returning thee back to the paths of thy forefathers. The ancient landmarks of My Church must be restored.

 

“I am causing thee to remove the pagan barriers; to remove the blots from thy landscapes – like standing stones, & white chalk men, etc. etc.

 

“Fear not for the outrage this will evoke; for My nation is called to follow Me, not those who worship earth in itself.

 

“THESES (51): Witchcraft again is to be a crime in thy land – a land which is dedicated to Me, not to the pantheistic gods of a devil who is determined to imitate Me.

 

“His deception is often subtle, yet surprisingly obvious on so many occasions.

 

“THESES (52): Thou art to recognise those suffering from mental illness, as opposed to criminality. I have given thee authority over all spirits of the underworld. Thou art to cast out spirits, & set men free. (Mark 16)

 

“THESES (53): Thou hast been right in exposing the Alexandrian scriptures: the so-called “new translations” are an abomination of hell that depicts My Word in a way that apparently pleases all.

 

“I am a jealous God, & will not tolerate that intrusion into society. I am declaring all theology degrees based on these new translations as null & void, meaning thy teachers have no right to teach children, thy lecturers have no right to teach students. These have to be replaced by those that have dedicated their lives to Me, who will proclaim the message ‘Ye must be born again.’

 

“THESES (54): I am declaring My Church to be those who have dedicated their lives to Me. Thine altars in thine great cathedrals are an abomination to Me. I have not caused thee to bow down to altars of gold, brass & stone, but rather recognise that thy bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost, meaning that I reign within true believers. So rip down these altars of Satan, & recognise that Jesus is Lord.

 

“THESES (55): Thou art to rid thy land of political correctness. Thou art not permitted to say in the Church that ‘we believe this, & we believe that,’ but are to emphasise My Word as being fact, not simply a belief on its own.

 

“For example, thou art to say ‘God created the heavens & the earth,’ not ‘I believe that God created…’

 

“Thou art to proclaim that Jesus is Lord, not ‘I believe that Jesus is Lord;’ it is a statement of fact, whether you believe it or not.

 

“THESES (56): I will promote those who don’t know over those who do; for those who do not know will bring the affairs of state to Me, & I will direct thy paths. The steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord.

 

“Thy Queen is to be an empty vessel for Me, rather than a figurehead of government. Constitutionally, I am to give direction as to whether the Queen should sign acts of Parliament or not.

 

“Constitutionally, all acts that have been signed under government direction are not acts at all; constitutionally, your nation is a nation under God, your Queen being an empty vessel for My will to manifest.

 

“THESES (57): Thou art to bring to justice those that have brought in laws contrary to My Word. There is to be special punishment & wrath upon those who have slaughtered innocents, & upon those who have allowed the abomination of mankind to manifest. To avoid My wrath, I call thee to repent, & change thy ways.

 

“THESES (58): A nation on its knees is a nation at ease.

 

“THESES (59): There is to be a time of mourning for thy sins. Instead of thy Christmases & thy Easter, I am calling thee to call a day of fasting before Me as an acknowledgement that thou hast repented as a land & nation.

 

“THESES (60): Thou art to move ahead as directed by My Spirit, rather than thy intellect. I have caused there to be politicians prepared to give their lives for the nation, rather than to go after personal gain.

 

“Make sure that thy politicians stand for Parliament with a heart of dedication & submission to God, recognising that thy nation is a theocracy – a nation under God, with empty vessels as its Parliament, Assembly & council members.

 

“THESES (61): Thy seats of government are to recognise that I am the potter, & thou art the clay.

 

“THESES (62): The abomination of the EU is to be removed from all aspects of government, for thou art to be a nation under God. Amongst nations thou hast called to be a Commonwealth of nations – the emphasis on the word being Common Wealth.

 

“THESES (63): Thou art to remove all other gods from these nations. The tsunami was a sign of My wrath towards nations who have submitted themselves towards other gods.

 

“Thou art experiencing natural disasters yourselves; for unless your nation returns unto Me, these disasters will increase. Thy crops will be ruined, & there will be famine upon thy land, which the EU funds will not be able to cope with.

 

“THESES (64): I warn all those who laugh & scorn at My theses shall have no place in My kingdom.

 

“THESES (65): Thou art to teach thy children the story of Noah as fact; that Jonah did exist, & enter a big fish. My Word must be taken as truth, & must not be kept under textual criticism.

 

“THESES (66): In the same manner as Islamic ‘nations’ protect their ‘Word,’ how much more should thou protect My Word, given unto thee.

 

“Thou must make it an offence to question My Word, for My Word is the stability of thy nation.

 

“THESES (67): I speak to all those who see themselves as Church leaders: I have seen thy colleges & universities questioning My Word, & I have rejected thee from My kingdom. Unless I witness true repentance, there will be a place for thee in eternal damnation.

 

“Thou must not question My Word; only believe it.”

 

“I am causing My nation to protect My Word; & all the Alexandrian counterfeits to be burned on bonfires throughout the whole nation. Hallelujah! My Word once more is to be restored to My land.

 

“There will be no excuses of it being old English, etc. etc. For thus saith the Lord: it is neither old English nor modern English: it is the language of heaven.

 

“THESES (68): These theses are to be placed on denominational & “Church” groupings’ doors throughout the whole of thy land. And as these theses are pinned upon the door, so this will mark the beginning of a judgement & wrath that is not of human dimension, but of Me.

 

“Do not look to blame man; for this is a time of self-examination before Me; a time to die to self-motivations, & a time to repent before my throne.

 

“THESES (69): Thou art to institute the five-fold ministry: of prophets & apostles, the foundations of the Church, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Cornerstone. (Those with NIVs – do not dare to refer to Me as capstone, for thy ‘Jesus’ is a counterfeit of the One who is equal in substance to the Father. For your NIV has described its Jesus as the capstone unable to grasp equality with the Father. I cause thee to repent of having such an abomination before Me).

 

“THESES (70): There is to be a time of reflection upon My Word. My Authorised Version, or KJV as it is called in America, includes the word ‘Selah;’ reflect, meditate on My Word. Instead of going through your nonsense of Easters & Christmases, call a day of reflection upon My Word. Gather round a family Bible: Mum & Dad, & the children.

 

“Those living in sin, recognise the error of thy ways; for there is no such thing as a partner relationship in My kingdom. For I have ordained marriage between a man & a woman to bring forth children built up in My Word. There is no place in My Word for those who live together as a partnership, whether they be man & woman, woman & woman, or man & man.

 

“THESES (71): I am not pleased with the displays of sodomy in thy streets. I have not changed; for the sin of Sodom yesterday is the sin of Sodom today.

 

“THESES (72): There is to be a great crying out before Me. I cause thee to put into action the clauses of these theses: for a nation once again to be at peace with itself.

 

“THESES (73): There is to be a famine upon this land unless thy keep the demands of My Word within thy hearts & minds.

 

“THESES (74): Thou shalt not have a Queen on ‘Christmas Day’ give a message of goodwill to the Commonwealth, when these nations are far away from Me. Instead, thou shalt have a Queen that calls for national repentance – a day of mourning of thy sin.

 

“THESES (75): Speak to the islands around thy coasts to come alive, & bear the fruits of revival.

 

“I speak to the land of the Hebrides to once more bear the fruit of revival. The Kirk of Barvas is once more to be a shining light to the world, having removed the transgressions of false translations But this revival shall be so much bigger than the past one; for it shall reach the ‘Catholic islands’ of the south, & publicans shall once again say that ‘truly, our trade has gone.

 

“THESES (76): I cause the Island of Orkney to repent of its transgression, its darkness of witchcraft.

 

“I cause the Isle of Man to remove its swastika of unbelief. Just as I have caused the people of Wales to remove the symbol of the dragon, so I am calling thee to remove the symbol of hatred & unbelief.

 

“To the islands of Scilly, to the Channel Islands, to the Isle of Wight: think not that I have forgotten thee, but come to Me with all thy hearts, & receive My rest.

 

“To all the outer isles on the coast of western Scotland: I have seen thy passion towards apparent ‘churchgoing;’ receive My passion to become sons of God, led by the Spirit of God.

 

“To the island of Iona, I say: remove thy pagan altars, & restore the apostolic mantle of Columba.

 

“To Holy Island, the Farne Islands: remember thy past, & do not move into the realm of modern theology based on the questioning My Word, but remember the dedication of thy forefathers.

 

“To the islands off the coast of Ireland: Rathlin, the Aran Isles, etc.: remember, thou hast not been called to be centres of religion, dead observance – but centres of dedication to the Living God.

 

“To the islands off the coast of Wales: Anglesey, Holy Isle, Bardsey & Ramsey, Skomer, etc., etc.: remember the dedication of the forefathers. And I speak to Anglesey to rid the land of its Druid past.

for those who “add to”” or remove words from the Bible?

Point 1: King James is not on Earth now and so how could he authorise a new translation?

 

Point 2: The New King James “Bible” is Satan’s Ultimate Counterfeit because whereas NIV, NASB etc. are obviously occultist, this “translation” is more subtle.

 

II Cor. 11: 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Isa. 14: 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Being “like the MOST HIGH” reveals Satan in his activities to seduce Christians who would not touch an NIV, RSV etc.

 

Point 3: If the NKJV is “God’s Word” – why use the triquetra or triskele as its logo? Along with the NKJV many occult books use either the same or similar logo that represents 666!

Point 4: Are the writers of the NKJV Preface either ignorant or liars – or are they honest?

 

Reading “The Preface” of the New King James Version is interesting because the writers honestly admit reference to the Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament in their “translation”. The Authorised Version translators would never have sanctioned this because of their Nestle-Aland links to Alexandria via psychics Westcott and Hort. “NU” is the code used in NKJV’s centre columns to show these references. NKJV writers are, therefore, honest on admitting their reference to manuscripts not used by the Authorised Version translators.

 

In addition to this the NKJV “Preface” admits use of a totally different manuscript for its “translation” of the Old Testament. This is the 1967/1977 Edition of Biblia Hebraica with reference to the Bomberg edition of 1524-25, The Septuagint and Latin Vulgate as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls and so the writers claim having more information to “resolve problems”!  These problems, however, are problems of their own making because there is no reference to being inspired by God. This is in complete contrast to the introduction of the Authorised Version which gives all glory to Almighty God. At the same time, however, whereas the Authorised Version translators give warning of the activities of “popish persons”, the NKJV Preface gives no such warming but rather gives reference to Codex found in a monastery at Mount Sinai and the Library of the Vatican. The NKJV Preface, therefore seems to embrace rather than warn about the indoctrination of “Popish Persons”!

 

Matthew 16: 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

 

THE NKJV, therefore, is an attempt of the bastions of the New World Order which I believe is emanating from Rome to bring in a One World Religion under the Anti-Christ of Rome. This presentation will prove without any doubt whatsoever that the manuscripts referred to by NKJV writers and their own NKJV script is part of New World Order’s plan to bring in the multi-faith Anti-Christ. This is particularly obvious in NKJV’s choice of manuscripts to translate its Old Testament text.

 

The real Old Testament text was under the care of the Aaronic Priesthood and the Holy Ghost gathered this priesthood and scholars working under the Priests to produce the Old Testament canon, whereas the New Testament canon was preserved through the Church – the Royal Priesthood of Believers.

 

Deut. 31: 24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,

25 That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,

26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

 

The contrast between the way NKJV explains its “translation” and the way God has preserved His Word is totally different as God ordained his Word to be placed alongside the holiest vessel.

 

Please note: this presentation proves beyond all doubt that the NKJV is not God’s Word but Lucifer’s counterfeit to lure Authorised Version readers into the same devilish trap he has the NIV, NASB etc. “Church” in.

 

This relates to the books of the Law and the Psalms whereas we are not told how the other O.T. books were preserved but it is likely that the books of Solomon were preserved in Jerusalem.

 

Despite of changing conditions including periods of apostasy and exile God preserved his Word. Under Ezra the Teacher of the Law God brought together the Old Testament books into one canon.

 

Ezra 7: 10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

 

The Masoretic Hebrew Text of the full canon was preserved by God for the translators of the Protestant Reformation to use in producing God’s real text of the Old Testament so different than NKJV’s perversion.

 

Such was the anointing of God’s Authorised Version that He ordained a Great Reformation that brought the true blood bought Word into the hands of the People free of Popish infiltration. This infiltration is now blocking and blinding the minds of many who call themselves “Christian” – people who no longer have the SWORD!

 

NKJV’s choice of manuscripts do not hold the God Breathed calling of scripture upon them. This includes the Dead Sea scrolls outside of the Masoretic text used by the Authorised Version translators. How dare modern “translators” use different manuscripts to produce a “New King James Version”, a Bible with so many changes to it because its root is in Lucifer rather than God!

The “Thees and “Thous” Conspiracy.

 

We have proven NKJV’s “Preface” writers to be honest in their own apparent admission of deviating from the God given purpose of the Authorised Version translators but can prove on the issue of “thees” and “thous” that the writers are either ignorant or dishonest.

 

“The Preface” declares the NKJV to have conformity in thought flow to the 1611 Authorised Version. This examination proves this not to be so and so we have either ignorance on behalf of the “translators” or a deliberate plot to undermine the Word of God.

 

 I believe the latter! Jesus said that he had come to bring division and this ministry under the calling of HIS NAME is doing just that – separating that which has come through “Popish Persons” from that which has come through those who have given their lives that we may read THE TRUE GOSPEL.

A classic NKJV statement over “thees” and “thous” is as follows: “Readers of the Authorized Version will immediately be struck by the absence of several pronouns: thee, thou and ye are replaced by the simple you, while “your” and “yours”  are substituted for “thy” and “thine” as applicable.

 

“Thee, thou, thy” and “thine” were once forms of address …….”  These pronouns along with Authorized Version verb endings are pronounced in this “Preface” as “archaic” and “obsolete”. This simply is not true!

 

I regularly declare “Thus saith the Lord” because this is continuous tense (he keeps on saying it) a tense not available in modern English – and how dare the NKJV translators proclaim the language of the Lord “obsolete”. I believe their actions to be blasphemous and illegal under British Constitutional law.

 

There are many like me who pray and preach in A.V. English and I am not obsolete and archaic, the remarks in this Preface being insulting to those who carry the true Word of God. How often have you heard the hymn “How Great Thou Art” sung as “How Great You Are”! The NKJV Preface, therefore is either a statement of lies or ignorance. I believe deception is the order of the day here from Lucifer himself.

 

 The most important point, however, is to ask why God breathed use of these pronouns and verb endings into existence when according to Webster’s Third New International Dictionary “thee, thou” and “ye” were no longer part of the language in 1611 either! They are not used in the Introduction to the 1611 Word of God because they came out of general English use in the late 13th. Century. They have been placed there by God and NKJV omits them bearing all the consequence of omitting scripture so as to please modern terminology.

 

In contemporary language we use the one word “you” to denote singular and plural but in their hunger for accuracy the Authorised Version translators in getting over what God was truly breathing used “thou, thy” and “thine” for singular and “ye” for plural. “T” for singular and “Y” for plural! 

Point 5 : NKJV’s Updating of “obsolete” words.

 

NKJV’s “Preface” claims to update obsolete words removing the word “hell” 23 times! This politically incorrect word is replaced by “Hades” or “Sheol”, Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary defining Hades as “the underground abode of the dead in Greek Mythology”. WE now discover that by updating the obsolete word “hell” by Hades that it is now the underground abode of the dead that will not prevail against the Church! This leaves the road clear for hell to do to the Church what hell is doing in Britain – destroying the “Church”! A great victory for Lucifer! It is the true Church of God’s Inspired Word that Satan cannot destroy.

 

Hell is removed in 2 Sam. 22:6, Job 11:8, 26:6, Psalm 16:10, 18:5, 86:13, 116:3, Isaiah 5:14, 14:15, 28:15,18, 57:9, Jonah 2:2, Matt. 11:23, 16:18, Luke 10:15, 16:23, Acts 2:27, 31, Rev. 1:18, 6:8, 20:13,14.

 

Another one of those "obsolete words" is "repent". NKJV removes it 44 times changing this very clear word to “relent”; Matt. 21:32; “remorseful” Matt. 27:3; and in Romans 11:29 “repentance” is changed to "irrevocable".

 

NKJV is ideal for today’s society on its way to hell for “damnation” is removed and so what is there to be saved from?

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned

 

NKJV Mark16: 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

 

WEBSTERS DICTIONARY on “DAMNED” - People who are condemned to eternal punishment; "he felt he had visited the realm of the damned".

 

On “CONDEMNED” -  Pronounced or proved guilty; "the condemned man faced the firing squad with dignity"; "a convicted criminal".

 

“Damned” is much more serious as this relates to eternal punishment according to Webster’s Dictionary, whereas “condemned” means to be made dead in the context of immediate death – not the context of Mark 16. NKJV, therefore, gives credence to the annihilationist theory rather than the Biblical perspective of damnation which is what Jesus saved the “born again” believer from.

 

With “hell” repentance” and “damnation” replaced what have we got to be saved from? There are no “devils” as these have been replaced by “demons” which Vine’s Expository defines as “an inferior deity, WHETHER GOOD OR BAD”. Therefore, a demon can either be good or bad in its meaning from Greek whereas a “devil” is always bad! This is why the Authorised Version uses the word “devils” rather than “demons”, the latter term being incorrectly used in “Church” circles today.

 

CORRECT A.V. Mark 16: 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

 

NKJV: 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

 

Other “obsolete” words replaced by the NKJV include “study”, II Tim. 2:15; and “virtue”, Mark 5:30, Luke 6:19, 8:46.

In changing words the NKJV

is fundamentally changing the meaning of the text!

Point 6: We are now living in “ages” according to NKJV and awaiting “The Coming One”!

In readiness for the one world “Bible” NKJV has changed “world to age”; Matt. 12:32;13:39,40,49; 24:3; 28:20; Mark 10:30, Luke 13:30;20:34-35; I Cor. 1:21.

Within this context of removing conviction the NKJV clearly refers to the coming again of Antichrist not Christ Jesus for in its Luke 7:19-22 passage the returning Christ is referred to as “The Coming One”. This reference is we believe a direct association with “The Great Invocation” and the belief in new age of the return of the Maitreya. We in the true Church call him Antichrist – the COUNTERFEIT.
